Mrs. Margaret (Peggy) Thompson age 72, late of Shellbrook, passed away on June 28, 2016 in the Parkland Integrated Health Centre, Home C. Peggy leaves to mourn her four children, Patty (Lorne) Miller of Shellbrook their children Michelle (Mitch) Wourms and Christine Miller; Kathy (Gerry) Stewart of Shellbrook their children Brandon (Lisa), Torey (Karlina); Ken (Darlene) of Prince Albert their children Brayden, Cade, Zack, Brooke; Wes (Errin) Thompson of Prince Albert and their children Tesa and Tavin; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Peggy was predeceased by her husband Ken Thompson, her parents Charles Ruby Thomas, in-laws Ira and Catherine Thompson. The Funeral Service for Peggy was held at Knox United Church in Shellbrook on Thursday June 30th at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor John Slemming as officiant. The eulogy was given by Ian Monk. The pallbearers were Brandon, Torey Stewart, Brayden, Cade Thompson, Ian Monk and Cal Breckenridge. Honorary Pallbearers Lorna Thompson, Carlene Anderson and Lois Rudolph and many care givers at the Shellbrook Integrated Home C. The organist Linda Bator was accompanied by the Shellbrook Community Choir. Memorial donations may be made in memory of Margaret to the Canadian Cancer Society.
