It is with great sadness we mourn the passing of Leroy Lachance at the age of 49 years. Leroy was born to Mary Madeline and David Lachance on March 30, 1967. Wake service was held at Saskatoon Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 6th, 2016 and moved to Madeline Lachance’s home  on Big River First Nation on Thursday, July 7th, 2016. Mass of Christian Burial for Leroy will be held on July 8th, 2016 at 2:00pm at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church on the Big River First Nation with Fr. Tru Le officiating. Interment will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery, Big River First Nation. Leroy is lovingly remembered by: his daughter, Jade Bambina (Ervin) Cardinal of Saddle Lake, AB, his grandchildren: ~ Kevin JB Stanley ~ Kia Agnes Christina Cardinal, his siblings: Shirley Parsons of Manitou Beach, SK ~ Gloria Rediron of Saskatoon, SK ~ Randy (Bev) Lachance of Big River FN ~ Shirley Lachance of Saskatoon, SK ~ Sandra Lachance (Bradley) of Big River FN ~ Brenda Lachance of Big River FN . He is also survived by an abundance of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Leroy is predeceased by: his father, David Lachance ~ his brothers, Kelvin and Leon ~ his aunts, Rosie, Louise, Virginia and Josephine ~ his uncles, Samarie, Leo, Felix, Joe and Charlie ~ his grandparents, Virginia and Charlie Rediron and Agnes and Dick Lachance ~ his great grandmother, Josette Apitchek ~ his cousin, Bertha Smallboy and also his best friends, Travis Ledoux and Larry Smallboy. Honorary pallbearers are John Spyglass, Garth Venne, Rebeka Maurice, Henry Smallwood, Nancy Jo, Beverly Burns, Anthony Arcand, Marlene Whitefish, Heather Brigadier, Glen Head, Marlene Duquette and staff from SIIT, TCU Place, Radisson Hotel and Dakota Dunes. Pallbearers are Cheyenne Lachance, Brandan Morin, Clarence Gardipy, Dale Gardipy, Ervin Stanley and Eddie Head. Family and friends wishing to send online condolences are welcome to visit www.beaulacfuneralhome.com.
