Joan Faye Bremner, nee Hagan, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones and song by her husband Gerry on Sat. July 9th at 9:30 a.m. at Youville Seniors’ Home in St. Albert, AB at 78 years of age. Joan Faye was known to all as Faye. She is survived by a devoted and loving husband of 59 years, Joseph Gerald Bremner of St. Albert, AB and their one and only child, daughter Karen Joy (Adalberto) Vieira of Edmonton, AB. Faye is also survived by their one and only grandchild, Ryan Musgrove of St. Albert, AB. Faye is also survived by her youngest sister from Hudson Bay, SK, Donna (Don) McLean and is the last of the siblings living of the Ernest & Ida Mae Hagen family. There are numerous cousins, nieces and nephews of Faye’s in SK, AB, ON and BC. Faye is predeceased by her parents Ernest & Ida Marie Hagen & Ken (Sharon) Hagen of Prince Albert, SK; sisters Lenore (Ron) Emmons of Saskatoon and Sharon (Bert) Lamiegre of Calgary, AB. Faye was a very devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She was known for her talent in writing poetry, music and lyrics and a love to dance and be with her family. She will be deeply missed by all her inspiring words and kibitzing conversations. Rest in Peace Joan Faye Bremner. Celebration of Life for Faye will be held at St. Joseph’s Parish Hall, Prince Albert, SK on Monday, August 1, 1-5p.m.
