Wayne Julian Anderson was born on March 28th, 1942 at the Kinistino hospital to the late Thorvald Anderson and Clara (Christianson) Anderson. Wayne was the second of two children. He attended Falcon School from Grade One to Eight. He then attended Weldon School for Grade Eight, Nine, and Ten after Falcon School closed. Wayne soon quit school upon entering Grade Eleven to help farm on the family farm. Wayne met Valerie Loden in 1960 and soon called her his wife in November 1965. They welcomed their first child, Trudy, in 1966. Three children followed: Murray in 1969, Sherry in 1970, and Debbie in 1975. Wayne, Valerie, and their four children lived on the Anderson home quarter north of Kinistino. Wayne was passionate about farming and always took pride in it. He continued to farm until 2010 when he retired and rented out his land. Wayne then spent his time on the farm with Valerie, where they enjoyed visiting with neighbours, gardening, and spending time with their children and grandchildren. He was a dedicated Co-op member and supporter of the Kinistino Tigers hockey team. Wayne was a proud man and loved beyond words. There were three things that Wayne loved endlessly: farming, his children and grandchildren, and the love of his life, Valerie.
Wayne is survived by his four children: Trudy (James); Murray (Shelly); Sherry (Len); Debbie (Brant); seven grandchildren: Ashley, Breanna, Erika, Steven, Abby, Alli, Alex; one great-grandchild: Bentley; and several nieces and nephews.
Wayne was predeceased by his mother Clara, father Thorvald, step-father Carl, and brother Ronald.
