August 10, 1941 – October 4, 2016

It is with sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Sophie Ann Jones on October 4, 2016.  Sophie enjoyed many hobbies, among them were cooking, gardening and painting.  Her greatest joys were tending her yard and garden in the summer time.  She will be dearly missed by all her family and friends.  Sophie is survived by her children Ellen Jones, Glen (Linda) Jones and their children Brayden (Corinne) Jones with daughter Mikayla, Jorden (Danieka) Jones and Jonathen Jones, Ken (Sarina) Jones and their children Kiefer and Keigan, Kathleen (Vic) Koivisto and their children Taylor with children Derek, Jayde and Myles and Tara with children Kaylab, Savanah and Devin; her brothers John (Cheryl) Heleta and their children and grandchildren, Harry (Florence) Heleta and their daughter; her in-laws Isabel Keir, Blake (Stella) Jones and Jim Jones; and numerous other relatives and friends.  She was predeceased by her husband Allan Jones; her parents Fred and Nettie Heleta; her sisters Marion Heleta and Irene Moody; and her brother Bill Heleta.  Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 8, 2016 at the Paddockwood Elks Hall, Paddockwood, SK with Ray Beckman officiating.  In lieu of other tributes, memorial donations can be made to a Charity of Donor’s Choice.  Condolences may be sent to the family at www.grays.ca   Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Gray’s Funeral Chapel, (306-922-4729).
