Alfred Joseph Carrier was born on April 11, 1964 in Prince Albert, SK, and passed away suddenly on October 22, 2016. Alfred attended school at Spruce Home School and Carlton High School. Alfred was “MacGuyver” in disguise, a great mechanic who had the amazing ability to figure things out and make them work. He had a heart of gold, helping everyone that needed a hand. He loved playing and watching hockey and baseball, fishing and camping, and most of all he loved his furry boys, Jake and Charlie. He started his mechanical career at John Deere in Prince Albert, then moved on to Seabee/Santoy Gold Mine, where he was employed at the time of his passing. Alfred is survived by his loving companion, Cheryl Roberts, his mother, Jean Carrier, his siblings, Allan (Sherry), Elaine (Mike), Carolyn (Brian), Mark (Theresa) and Judy (Vern), his aunts and uncles, all of his nieces and nephews, his friends, co-workers, neighbors, and all of the people that Alfred came in contact with. He was predeceased by his father, Armand Carrier, his in-laws, Lorne & Mary Roberts, and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Interment will be at Snowden Cemetery. A Celebration of Alfred’s Life will be held at a later date. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the care of River Park Memorial Chapel, Carla Jesso, Funeral Director.
