It’s with saddened hearts we announce the sudden passing of Arnold F. Brown of Prince Albert, SK on November 7, 2016 at the age of 62 after losing his battle with cancer. He died peacefully surrounded by his family. Arnold was born in Prince Albert, SK on January 18, 1954. He was the youngest of 4 boys born to John and Doreen Brown. Arnie’s home was in Prince Albert. He grew up going to Queen Mary and Tech (Carlton Comprehensive). He loved playing hockey throughout his life playing for various teams. He had a passion for visiting friends and family and enjoyed weekends tending to his vehicles and caring for his house. Arnie worked for many years at Woodlands Enterprises until they were shut down. This is when his journey began with Sask Rivers School Division and became well known with the many staff he worked with over the years. Arnie is survived by his children Deanna (Rob Stephenson) Brown of Prince Albert; their children Amy Witt of Chilliwack, BC and her family Alexander & Tristin; Adam Brown and family Seth, Adrianna & Alyssa; and Samantha Brown of Prince Albert; his son Danny (Tara) Brown of Lloydminster; their children Dakota, Carson and Jaxson Brown; his mother Doreen Brown of Prince Albert; his brothers Allen (Trudie) Brown; Don (Edna) Brown; Herb (Lana) Brown of Mission BC; aunts Mildred Moore of Prince Albert; Verna Cantin of Sioux Saint Marie, Ontario; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his father John Brown (2000). Public Visitation will be held on Friday, November 11, 2016 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 12, 2016 with Reverend Rick Martin officiating. Both services will be held at Gray’s Funeral Chapel, 575 – 28th Street West, Prince Albert, SK. Interment will be held at Prince Albert Memorial Gardens.
