George James Clarke “Chaw-Chee” was born on Wednesday, March 19, 1941 in Pelican Narrows, SK, and passed away on Wednesday, November 9, 2016 in Saskatoon, SK at the age of 75 years. George is survived by his loving family, his brothers and sisters, Philip (Hilma) Clarke, Therese (Gilbert) Clarke, Joseph (Eva) Clarke, Roderick (Shirley) Clarke, Norman (Marguerite) Clarke, Ida (George) Sewap, Shirley (Otto) Olson, Gregory (Kathy) Clarke and Dicky (Pauline) Clarke, and his children, Allan (Sharon) Clarke, Georgina (Frankie) Halkett, Rosie Clarke, Raymond (Gail) Clarke, Darwin (Belinda) Clarke, Robert (Joyce) Clarke, Jerry (Belinda) Clarke, Clifford (Laura) Clarke Joanis, Obert (Beatrice) Clarke, Russell (Darlene) Clarke and Clara (Dennis) Sanderson. He was predeceased by his wife, Betsy Clarke, his parents, Thomas and Charlotte Clarke, his brothers and sister, Tommy, Norvil, Hector, Raymond and Maryann, his great-grandson, Clifton Clarke Jr. (C.J.), his special friends, Jack Custer, Ronnie Canada, Napoleon Merasty and James Cook, and his nieces and nephews, Bella, Maryann, Tommy, Malina, Aaron and Perry. A prayer service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 11, 2016 at River Park Funeral Home, Mrs. Margaret Ferchuk officiating. Wake services will be held on Friday, November 11, 2016, Saturday, November 12, 2016 and Sunday, November 13, 2016 at the Reindeer Lake School Gymnasium. George’s funeral mass will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, November 14, 2016 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Roman Catholic Church, Father Lawrence officiating. Interment will follow at Southend Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the care of River Park Funeral Home in Prince Albert, SK, 306-764-2727, Don Moriarty, Funeral Director.
