With broken hearts the family of Logan Curtis Ring, late of Swift Current, sadly announce the passing of their son, brother, father and friend, far too soon on November 17, 2016 at the age of 21 years.
Logan was born to Cindy (d’Eon) McEwen of Shellbrook and Glendon Ring of Hebron, NS. on Sept., 25, 1995 in Yarmouth, NS. Grandparents, Norman and Alicia d’Eon of Pubnico, NS. and Myrna and Daryl Allen of Kemptville, NS.
He left behind his greatest joy and love, his 2-year-old son, Axel Layne Bryce Zacharias, his brothers, Tyler Ring, Colton McEwen, Morgan McEwen, and Justin McEwen, Aunts and Uncles, Angela d’Eon and Casey Kwan of Vancouver, BC., Todd d’Eon and Natalie Dugas of Mont Uniacke, NS., Crystal Ring and Kevin Miller of Alberta, Earl and Pauline Ring of Yarmouth, NS., Pauline and Ray Bullerwell of Yarmouth, NS., Minard and Dianna Ring of Ontario and many other relatives.
Logan loved most driving with friends, listening to music, and seeing you smile. He loved working on his old Ford Ranger, playing video games and “chilling” with friends. He touched many lives with his huge heart, his vast knowledge, non-judgmental easy going personality and for that will be dearly missed by family and friends near and far.
He will be remembered for his smile, his laugh, his green thumb and love for nature, his love for fishing on the lake in Kemptville at his grandparents Myrna and Daryl’s cottage, or just spending quiet time looking out on the water reflecting his life and dreams. Born with sea legs he loved his time on the ocean with his Grandfather Norman and never took a sunset or sunrise for granted. He now has an endless supply. They say a lifetime on earth is like a second in heaven, so I will see you in a sec kiddo.
The family will be having a Celebration of Life for Logan on Saturday, December 3rd at 1:00 pm. at the Shellbrook Pentecostal Church (61 – 2nd St. W. Shellbrook) with Keith Ethier officiating. Interment will take place at a later date in Nova Scotia.
In lieu of tributes, memorial donations may be made in memory of Logan to either Victims Services in your local town, or to a Trust Fund that the family has set up for Logan’s son, Axel. Family and friends wishing to send private online condolences are welcome to visit www.beaulacfuneralhome.com Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Beau “Lac” Funeral Home, Tammy Smart – Director (Shellbrook 306-747-2828).
