It is with heavy hearts that the family of Cheryl Gail Arcand of Prince Albert, SK announce her passing on Saturday November 26, 2016 at the RUH in Saskatoon, SK.

 

One stormy morning Cheryl was born in Big River, SK on October 4, 1982 during moose hunting season acquiring her first nickname Moose Hunter.    

 

She loved to dance.  When she was 5 years old she won her first trophy in a jigging competition.  Cooking was her passion and bannock was her specialty.  It was nothing for her to whip up a batch of cinnamon buns or a big meal for family and friends.  It was what made her happy.

 

Cheryl was always good with children.  If they were unsure of her she would find a way to win them over whether it was by offering food or a drink, fixing their hair and putting some makeup on or just her smile, she could make them love her.

 

Cheryl leaves to mourn her two children Tristin and Chayna; her parents Ralph and Lorna Arcand; her sister Carla (Alan) and family Charmayne, Lonnie and Delaney; her brother Clinton and his children Keegan, Laine, Cassidee, Maganne, Lillee, Piper and CJ; her brother Cole and his children Kota and Kali; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Cheryl is predeceased by her grandparents, Victor Sr. and Emma Arcand; Lorne and Mae Whitrow; her aunt Emily Morley; her uncle Victor Jr. Arcand; and a special cousin, John Guy Arcand “Chun”.

 

 

There was a Celebration of Life for Cheryl that took place on Thursday, December 1, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. from the Canwood Community Hall. Interment followed in the Park Valley Catholic Cemetery.

 In lieu of Cards and Flowers a Trust Fund account for Tristin and Chayna has been set up at the Debden Credit Union or contributions can be made through the GoFundMe account
