On December 12, 2016, Vera L. Smith (nee Carrick) formerly of Eyebrow, SK, at the age of 99 years passed away peacefully at the Good Shepherd Care Home in Prince Albert, SK.   Born in Eyebrow in 1917, Vera was predeceased by husbands George Landwer and Earl Smith, brothers Norm, George, Jack, Leslie, Hector and sisters Dora and Mary.  She is survived by daughters Dorie and Gloria (Leif Madsen), granddaughter Dana, great granddaughters Sarah and Amy.

At Vera’s request there will be no funeral and remains will be coming home to Eyebrow at a later date.  A very special thank you to the many friends in Eyebrow who brightened her days with their letters and kind thoughts. Also thank you for the kindness and very special care from the staff at the Good Shepherd Care Home.
