Maggie Noelle Prosper (nee McKenzie) was born on Monday, December 25, 1950 in La Ronge, SK and passed away on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 in Saskatoon, SK at the age of 66 years. Maggie is survived by her loving family, her companion Walter Paproski, her children Jeanny McKenzie, George McKenzie, Lester Roberts, Kathy Gauthier and Samantha Gauthier, her special son Angus G. McKenzie, her grandchildren Angus (Brianna), Sonny (Daryl), Denise, Dennis, Ryan, Cody, Jocelyn, Renáe, Max, Krista, Mason, Robyn, Taylor, Susan, Erin, Raven, Michael, Colin, Ruth, Kaylee, Isabele, Candace, Dayna, Gabe, Starr, Ryan and Adam, her great-grandchildren Kayden, Camden and Victoria, her brothers Lawrence McKenzie and Angus McKenzie, and her sisters Ida (Angus) Tremblay, Sophie Tremblay and Annie (Gerald) Sanderson. She was predeceased by her sons Alphonse McKenzie and Louise Ross, her parents Angelique McKenzie and James Isbister, her sisters Sally (her twin) and Anna, her grandparents McIvor & Maggie McCallum and Fred & Maria Isbister, and her husband Leo Prosper. A wake service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at Kitsaki Hall in La Ronge, SK. Maggie’s funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at All Saints Anglican Church in La Ronge, SK, Reverend Elias Ballantyne officiating. Interment to follow at the Anglican Church Cemetery in La Ronge, SK.
