Baby Zander Tarzan Venne was born on Monday, April 4, 2016 in Prince Albert, SK, and passed away on Tuesday, January 24, 2017 in La Ronge, SK at the age of 9 months and 20 days. Zander is survived by his loving family, his mother Ashley McLeod (Greg McKay), his father Zacheus Venne, his half-sisters Janessa Venne and Zaidee Charles, his grandparents Patsy McLeod (Colin Venne), Keith Modine, Bella Venne (Ronnie McCallum) and Leonard Venne, his great-grandparents Jean McLeod (Richard Bell), Harold & Byrl Modine and Ruby Shaw, his god-parents Shirley McLeod, David Merasty and Jeffrey Morin Jr., his aunts and uncles Linda (Bill) Mahoney, Lenny (Cassandra Cunningham) Ratt, Miranda Ratt, Darren Ratt (Crystal Schappert), Allison Modine, Amber McLeod, Wayne McLeod (Xandria McKenzie), Diana McLeod, Skylar McLeod and David McLeod, and his cousins Kobe, Karter, Kahlen, Kaylee, Xavier, Xandria, Seth, Shannon, Cyril, Tyree, Ashton, Shane, Tiana, Vanessa, William, Darren, Mike, Tila, Travis Jr., Taylor and Cooper, as well as numerous great-aunts and great-uncles. He was predeceased by his grandparents Gideon McLeod and Joe Roberts, his uncles Dakota McLeod and William Taylor, his great-aunt Shirley McLeod, and his great-uncles Malachi McLeod and Tarzan McLeod, as well as numerous other relatives. A wake service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 28, 2017 and continued on Sunday, January 29, 2017 at Kitsaki Hall in La Ronge, SK. Zander’s funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, January 30, 2017 at All Saints Anglican Church in La Ronge, SK, Reverend Richard Custer officiating. Interment to follow at the Anglican Church Cemetery in La Ronge, SK.
