Donelda Grace MacDonald (nee Cooney, Horne), late of Shellbrook, SK, passed away on Friday, February 10, 2017 at St. Pauls Hospital in Saskatoon, SK, following a battle with Cancer.   Donelda was a long time resident of Birch Hills, SK, where she welcomed family and friends for beautiful Christmases and holidays with her children and grandchildren whom she loved dearly, cooking and crafting to her heart’s content.  She was an avid participant in the Anglican Church and through the years she was employed at Norcan Air, Nor Sask Electric, and later on at Birch Hills Pharmacy.  Donelda always made time to cook, which she loved to do! and to share her love with all who had come to know her.  From bowhunting, to needlepoint to crocheting, perfecting recipes and tending a large garden, she always made time for and loved her family.  She will be sadly missed by all who had the pleasure of making her acquaintance.  Donelda will be lovingly remembered by: her daughter: Linda Seymour and grandchildren: Vanessa (Colin) Jensen and Ella and Westyn; her son: Gordon LeBoeuf; her step-son: Leh Horne and children: Stacey (Scott) Gherasim, and children Rhett, Zack Jase, Candy (Jody) Dawson and children: Terren and Paige; Lance (Karen) Horne and children: Berlynn and Lawcen; step-son: Terry Horne and children: Dylan (Amy) Horne and children: Lyla and Cody Horne; and her sister: Donna (Leslie) Malinowski.  Donelda was predeceased by her husbands: Douglas MacDonald and Larry Horne; her parents:  Cecil and Marion Cooney; her sister: Mary Albert; and her brothers: John and Clifford Cooney.  A Service of Remembrance will be held on Friday, February 17, 2017 at 10:00 am at MacKenzie Chapel, 130 9th St. E, Prince Albert, SK.  Interment will take place in Birch Hills, SK at a later date.   Donations in memory of Donelda may be made to: Rose Garden Hospice, Box 2092, Prince Albert, SK S6V 5R3.
