HORACE RATT

Horace Joseph Ratt was born on Monday, March 15, 1948 in Pelican Narrows, SK and passed away on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 in Pelican Narrows, SK at the age of 69 years. Horace is survived by his loving family, his love of 45 years, Mildred; his daughters, Joyce (Wally), Mabel (Atook), Bella (Rene), Florence (Ken) and his baby girl, Elizabeth (Arnold); his sons, Horace Jr. (Darcy) and Joe; his 29 grandchildren, Jana, Tamara, Christa, Kiera, Tom, Matthew, Ryan, Keegan, Skyler, Carter, Zac, Lindan, Annie, Thomas, Crosby, Ellie, Akira, Kashton, Daniel, Samantha, Emery, Marlon Jr., Braydin, Kinley, Nitanis, Keisha, Keaston, Keslynn and Kaysen; his 16 chapans, Patience, Winter, Kayler, Kayara, Trea, Drew, Marcus, Jefferson, Merce, Annie, Shayne, Tayden, Tayson, Taylynn, Tayrence and Baby Ross; his adopted children, Hank Ballantyne, Karen Jane McCallum, Odette Krauss, Gayle Moffatt, Kerry, Earl Stanley, Tanner Cook, Charles Denis and MJ Kummerer; his sisters, Therese Sewap and Margaret (Adam) Sewap; his brothers, Roderick, Larry (Marg) and Roy (Angelique) Custer; his granddaughter Marion Ratt; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his daughter, “Daddy’s Girl” Mary Edna; his parents, Albert and Bella Ratt; his sisters, Angelique and Elizabeth Ratt; his brothers, Philip and Ovide Ratt; his nieces, Angelique Custer, Mary Jane Morin and Vivian Ratt; his nephews, Alvin Morin, Aaron Ratt and Reggie Ratt; and his auntie, Louisa Ballantyne. A prayer service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, March 31, 2017 at River Park Memorial Chapel in Prince Albert, SK, Margaret Ferchuk officiating. Horace’s funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at St. Gertrude Roman Catholic Church in Pelican Narrows, SK, Father Joseph Subhash officiating.
