Lyle Lafond was born on Saturday, July 3, 1965 in Coleman, Alberta and passed away on Thursday, April 27, 2017 in St. Louis, SK at the age of 51 years. Lyle is survived by his loving family: his wife, Ruby Lafond; his children, Amanda Lafond, Beau Lafond and Colton Lafond; his father, Ernest Lafond; his sisters, Connie Leavey and Deanna Ahenakew; his brothers, Trevor Lafond and Burt (Glenda) Lafond; and his grandchildren, Darius, Aiden, Caleb, Elijha, Brailynn, Eliza and Darren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his mother, Muriel Cox; his step-son, Darren Umpherville; his brother, Curtis Lafond; his nephew, Jordan Lafond; and his grandparents, Helen Lafond, Albert Lafond, Elizabeth Cox and Frank Cox. Celebration of Lyle’s Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at River Park Funeral Home in Prince Albert, SK, Reverend Susan Salo officiating.
