Audrey Mae Marcotte

May 2, 1928 – April 20, 2017

Audrey Mae Marcotte passed peacefully on April 20, 2017.  She was born Audrey Sinclair at the home of Mrs. MacElroy in Kinistino, Saskatchewan on May 2, 1928.  On July 26th, she married Alphee Marcotte and together they farmed and raised two daughters, Debbie and Sandra.  They became foster parents in 1967 and welcomed many, many children into their home into their 70’s.  Audrey and Alphee moved to Prince Albert in 2005 to be near their daughters and grandchildren.  She will be sadly missed by all her family and friends but, we are comforted in knowing that she is in a happy place and will be watching over us all as always.  Audrey will be lovingly remembered by her daughters Debbie (Karl) Fremont and their children Kaylee Dawn and Tara Lynn, and Sandra Marcotte and her children Danica Lynn Hegland, Madison Rae Hegland and Tyler Jonathon Hegland; her sister Lorraine Marcotte; her brother Lorne (Marg) Sinclair; and her sister-in-law Bernice Sinclair.  Audrey was predeceased by her husband Alphee    Marcotte; her parents Edmund Allan Sinclair and Jean “Jenny” (nee Borwick); her siblings James (Evelyn) Woode, Archie (Verna) Woode, Elsie (Leslie) Wallace, Dorothy (Harold) Arne and Lloyd Sinclair.  Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at Kinistino Anglican Church, Kinistino, SK with Pastor Iris Kristjansdottir officiating.  Interment will be held at Kinistino Cemetery.  Condolences may be sent to the family at www.grays.ca.  Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Gray’s Funeral Chapel, (306-922-4729).
