Archie Alex Jonas Ratt was born on Wednesday, April 7, 1971 in Prince Albert, SK and passed away on Friday, June 30, 2017 in Saskatoon, SK at the age of 46 years. Archie is survived by his loving family: his wife, Melinda Ratt; his children, Jessie Venne, John Charles, Dale Ratt and Azaria Bird; his mother, Flossie Charles; his father, Thomas (Maria) Ratt; his brothers, Thomas Ratt, Dean Bird, Peter Ratt, Thomas Halkett, Alex Halkett and Daniel Halkett; his sisters, Polly Halkett, Jemima Ratt and Betsy (Blair) Eyahpaise; his step-sister, Doris Roberts; his grandparents, Gilbert Ratt and Jemima Ratt; his aunts, Elaine Lavallee (Moses), Susan Bird, Nora Lavallee-Roberts, Caroline Lavallee, Jean Mary Naytowhow (Conrad), Vicky Viney, Bella (Bill) Gale, Mary (Isiah) Eninew and Shirley Natomagan; and his uncles, Sydney Bird, Joseph Lavallee, Thomas Lavallee, Peter Lavallee, Noel (Jennifer) Lavalle, Fred Lavallee, Isaac Ratt and Emil Ratt; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his sister, Colleen Kirkham; his grandparents, Jane and Jonas Lavallee; his great-grandparents, Elizabeth & Peter Bird and Flossie & Moise Lavallee; his uncle, Daniel Ratt; his niece, Chenille Eyahpaise; his nephew, Tyler Walker; his cousin, Billy Gale; and his best friend, Thompson Wilson Venne. A wake service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 4, 2017 in Montreal Lake, SK. Archie’s funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at St. Joseph’s Anglican Church in Montreal Lake, SK, Bishop Adam Halkett officiating. Interment to follow at Molanosa Cemetery.
