Judith Marie HOWLAND
March 7, 1955 – July 22, 2017
Judy Howland late of Candle Lake, Sk. left this life on July 22, 2017 and was welcomed into her heavenly home. Judy was born and educated in Prince Albert. Born March 7, 1955 the oldest daughter of David and Mary Peters, she was sibling to 3 brothers and 1 sister, and loving aunt to numerous nieces and nephews. Judy leaves a legacy of love and devotion to family. She will be lovingly cherished and remembered by her husband of 25 years Noel Howland, her sons Douglas (Megan) Howland and Brian (Joanne) Howland, stepchildren Ray (Risa) Howland and Annette Howland, grandchildren Francesca, Gage, Cole, Logan, Lucas and Ryker, parents David and Mary Peters, brother Marvin Peters of Fort MacMurray, Alta, George (Linda) Peters of Calgary, Alta, sister Marlene (Don) Reid of Birch Hills Sk., sister-in-law Gail Sackett of Prince Albert, Sk. and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Gordon Peters in 1994. Judy spent her working life in Prince Albert with Precision Engineering and Howland Knife and Saw Sharpening, and in Saskatoon with Graham Construction retiring in 2013. Judy loved her family and friends and had great gusto for life. She loved to entertain and was always glad when company came to call. Some of her hobbies included gardening, fishing, photography (especially nature and family), cooking and travelling. A service to celebrate Judy’s life will be held Saturday July 29, 2017 at 10:00 am from Lake Park Baptist Church, Birch Hills. Interment will follow at Memorial Gardens, Prince Albert.
In lieu of other tributes donations can be made to the Cancer Society or a charity of one’s choice. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Gray’s Funeral Chapel, 575 – 28th Street West, Prince Albert, Sk.
