Freida Venne was born on Saturday, April 10, 1954 in Pinehouse Lake, SK and passed away on Wednesday, August 23, 2017 in La Ronge, SK at the age of 63 years. Freida is survived by her loving family: her husband, Simon Venne; her daughters, Nicole (Henry) Sanderson, Megan (Garry) Sanderson and Denise Carpenter; her son, Travis (Kyra) Venne; her sisters, Caroline (Louis) Natomagan, Amelia Natomagan and Margaret (George) Bird); her brother, Tommy Sanderson; her grandsons, Deondray (Gloria) Natomagan, Jacob Carpenter and Xavier Carpenter; her sisters-in-law, Sally (George) Venne, Edith Venne and Lillian Wilson; and her brothers-in-law, George (Margaret) Bird, George (Sally) Venne and Louis (Caroline) Natomagan; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her sons, Nathan Sanderson and Joseph Sanderson; her parents, William and Agnes Sanderson; her grandparents, Tom & Genevieve Sanderson and Alfred & Amelia Sanderson; her brothers, Napoleon Sanderson, Stanley Sanderson and Alex Sanderson; and her sisters, Catherine (Basil) Natomagan, Annie (Albert) Smith and Theresa (James) Smith. A wake service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at Kitsaki Hall in La Ronge, SK, and continued at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 27, 2017 at Numipeth Sepiy Hall in Sucker River, SK. Freida’s funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, August 28, 2017 at Numipeth Sepiy Hall in Sucker River, SK, Reverend Cody Cooper officiating. Interment to follow at Sucker River Cemetery.
