Myles George Sanderson was born on Thursday, March 2, 1950 in Fox Point, SK and passed away on Sunday, October 29, 2017 in La Ronge, SK at the age of 67 years. Myles is survived by his loving family: his best friend, Mary E. Ross; his children, Karen Ross (Ray), Pearl Halkett (Bobby), Vanessa Ross (Brian), Rachel Sanderson, Jemima Sanderson, Christopher Ross, Melissa Sanderson and Carrie Sanderson; his special son, Jimmy Roberts; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; his brothers and sisters, Tom (Anne) Sanderson, Hector (Betty) Sanderson, Jemima (Randy) Wells and Annie (Bill) Taylor; and his aunt, Annie Gormley; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, “Broke the Boys”, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his father, Henry Sanderson; his mother, Hannah Mary Sanderson-Bell (nee Bird); his daughter, Hannah Lee Sanderson; his son in infancy; his grandson, Landon Bird; his special nephew, Billy Taylor; his grandparents, George & Georgina Bird and Myles & Caroline Sanderson; his uncles, Hector Bird and Tom Bird; and his aunts, Cora Williston, Nancy Bird, Rachel and Theresa in infancy. A wake service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at Kitsaki Hall in La Ronge, SK. Myles’ funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 2, 2017 at All Saints Anglican Church in La Ronge, SK, Edna Mirasty officiating. Interment to follow at La Ronge Anglican Church Cemetery.
