Brosnikoff – Patricia Olive (Pat) nee: Jenkins
Born in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan on October 23, 1939 passed away peacefully at North Okanagan Hospice Society in Vernon, British Columbia on December 16, 2017 surrounded by her loving husband and daughters.
Mom spent most of her life in Prince Albert and moved to Winfield, British Columbia in 1990.
Mom worked at various jobs throughout her life, though most will remember her for her childcare years.
Pat is survived by her husband Cliff Brosnikoff of Vernon, BC, son Ron (Sharlene) Henry of Yorkton, SK, daughters Elaine (Mickey) Schwan of Prince Albert, SK, Judy (Mike) McKay of Prince Albert, SK and Lori (Mike) Dansereau of Prince George, BC.
Grandchildren: Kelly Henry, Ashley (Joey) Holbird, Cory (Megan) Schwan, Amy (Dallas) Wilm, Cory McKay, Dallas (Becky) McKay, Carly McKay, Michaela (Brandon Miller) Dansereau and Jordan Dansereau. Great grandchildren: Natalie Henry, Ethan, Zoey, Emma and Leah Holbird, Olivia and Claire Schwan, Audrina Wilm and baby brother Bennett – due in February. Brody and Abigail McKay, Aurora and Hayden McKay. Also survived by Cliff’s children: Greg (Barb) Brosnikoff, Jody (Cam) Wilkinson and Cory Brosnikoff. Step grandchildren: Michael, Josh and Destiny.
Siblings: Dan Jenkins, Bob (Pat) Jenkins, Barb (Marcel) Joubert, June Pyche, Tom (Evelyn) Jenkins, Judith (Robert) Adrian and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mom was predeceased by her daughter Linda Henry, parents Percival and Dorothy Jenkins, siblings Walter, Gertrude, Julia and Jack Jenkins and the father of her children, Robert Henry.
Thank You to Vernon Jubilee Hospital 7th floor staff for their caring and compassionate care. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in mom’s name to the North Okanagan Hospice Society, 3506 27th Avenue, Vernon, British Columbia V1T 1S4.
