West Flat fire leaves family out in the cold

A house fire this week in Prince Albert’s West Flat neighbourhood is under investigation.

Around 3:30 a.m. Tuesday, the fire department responded to the 1100 block of 18th St. W. Upon arrival firefighters saw flames shooting out from a second-storey window.

An aggressive interior attack was performed by firefighters and the fire was quickly extinguished.

The interior of the home received extensive fire and smoke damage. There were no injuries.
