“Yes, there will be something coming out of the sky”: Environment Canada on Halloween forecast

Oct 31, 2019 | 12:15 PM

The weather is doing its part to ensure that a chilling mood is in place for the trick-or-treaters venturing out to fill candy bags.

For the most part, temperatures will stay slightly above zero all afternoon, with it dipping into negative territory after 8 p.m.

The one factor that might sway what time the masquerade of superheroes, Disney princesses and zombies head to the streets is precipitation.

“Yes, there will be something coming out of the sky [rain or snow] from noon till 5 p.m. After that we go from the absolute [of falling precipitation] to there is a chance of precipitation,” Meteorologist, Natalie Hasell predicted. “We still have a chance of flurries after 6 p.m. in the forecast so not like you’re completely scot free.”
