Alta. rainfall has city monitoring water levels
The floodwater in Alberta could be making its way to Prince Albert.
The Government of Alberta recently issued a high flow advisory for the North Saskatchewan River and the City of Prince Albert is aware.
“We’re anticipating a rise in the [North] Saskatchewan River over the next week or so,” said Prince Albert City Manager Robert Cotterill although no high river level warning has been issued.
“We’re probably are going to be doing a lot of things. Our problem right now is we have not got a flow accurate measure of what kind of flows we’re going to see and we won’t know for a while yet.”
