Historical society has people opening their homes for fundraiser
Some homeowners are opening their doors to support the Prince Albert Historical Society.
On Oct. 27 the society will be putting on a historic homes tour. Those who buy tickets will have the chance to visit five homes in the city. Michelle Taylor, the manager and curator for the historical society said the homes that were selected were built in the 1910 -12 era.
“It will give people an opportunity to see how the old houses were built and designed,” she said.
Four of the homes are located on the hill while one is located in the west flat. Taylor said the time period when these houses were built was a significant time in the city of P.A. as lots of homes were going up during this time.
