Nearly 100 people came together on Thursday at the Nest to share a Thanksgiving meal.
The Canadian Mental Health Association uses the Central Ave. space to operate a drop-in centre and run various vocational and educational programs. Many of their clients live with mental health issues and illness.
Throughout the year the centre also hosts special family-style holiday meals.
“It’s an opportunity for everyone to come together to have that celebration that many of them won’t have over the weekend,” CMHA Program Director, Anna Marie Huybrecht told paNOW.
