Police appeal to public for help in locating escaped prisoner

Police are on the lookout for an escaped prisoner in Stanley Mission.
Officers were transporting Ethan Merasty to the Stanley Mission detachment last Saturday after he was arrested for breaching a court order. When the member opened the door to the police cruiser, Merasty fled on foot.
Police pursued Merasty but were unable to locate him.
He is 5-8, weighs 170 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes.
