Emergency crews swing for charity

Sep 19, 2019 | 2:12 PM

Sometimes the swings off the tee may not have been pretty but the end result of the recent charity Emergency Services Golf Tournament sure looks good.

The beneficiaries of the $4,200 raised in the Aug.29 event were Kids Sport and River Valley Resilience Retreat.

At a media gathering Thursday, Parkland Ambulance Director of Public Affairs Lyle Karasiuk thanked the event’s title sponsor Northern Lights Casino and various volunteers for their efforts.

It was a sentiment shared by the recipients.
