Truck fire at P.A. gas station

Emergency crews responded to a fuel truck fire at the Petro Canada industrial gas station on Sixth Ave. E. and 13^th Street near Cornerstone late Tuesday afternoon.

One witness said they saw flames leaping into the air and traffic was evacuated from the immediate area.

Photos showed what appeared to be the main cab of the truck on fire.

As many as five police vehicles responded along with fire crews.

It was a dramatic fire but crews quickly had it under control and Parkland Ambulance said there were no injuries.(submitted/Austin MacLochlainn)

The fire was quickly extinguished and Parkland Ambulance said there were no injuries.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
