Alleged knife offences and a man causing a disturbance were among incidents dealt with by Prince Albert Police Service (PAPS) this week.

In a media release, PAPS said a man reported he had been threatened by a 30-year-old man with a knife and officers were sent Wednesday evening to the 3200 Block of Second Ave. W. The man was charged with obstruction of a peace officer, possession of a dangerous weapon, and breach of a court order.

In another incident Wednesday a man was charged with possession of a controlled substance and a breach of court order at the 600 Block of 15th St. W. Police were called there at 4 p.m. for a man causing a disturbance. Police found a folding knife and a bag of methamphetamine on him.

At 2:30 a.m. Tuesday police were called for a robbery of a business at the 2600 Block of Second Ave. W. A woman threatened an employee with a knife, which was later found behind the business. Police eventually identified a 42-year-old woman who was charged with robbery.
