Health authority examines anonymous whistleblower hotline options
The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) has put out a call for proposals to establish an anonymous tip line for reporting employees who break the rules.
The provincial health agency confirmed the news in an email on Monday.
The email said the hotline service would allow users to report “employees and others (who) are suspected of violating SHA policies, codes of conduct or legal requirements.”
The SHA has launched the request for proposals (RFP) in conjunction with its whistleblower policy, the authority’s Lisa Thomson said.
