Emergency response exercise planned at Prince Albert Airport Thursday

Emergency vehicles and personnel will be at the Prince Albert Airport Thursday afternoon for a training exercise.
The exercise is scheduled to begin at about 1:30 p.m. It will involve the Prince Albert Police Service, Prince Albert Fire Department, Parkland Ambulance, the City of Prince Albert and airport personnel.
Police said the agencies will practice a coordinated response to an emergency scenario and work on communication between responders.
People may notice more emergency vehicles in and around the airport during the exercise. Police said the event is planned and there is no risk to public safety.
