Cinema in Concert

Apr 21, 2026 | 10:10 AM

The Prince Albert Concert Choir is hosting its spring choral concert on Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 10 at 4:00 pm at Calvary United Church.

The song selection is quite varied so there is something for every listener, but all are featured in films so the theme of the concert is “Cinema in Concert: A Choral Tribute to Film”.

We are excited to feature several guest musicians who will accompany various songs in our choral set.

Space is first come first serve and we suggest coming early as we had to turn guests away after we reached the building capacity at our 2025 Christmas concert.

Doors open at 3 pm.

The PACC is a four-part community concert choir that exists to sing together, grow musically, and contribute to community life.

We provide adults with an enriching and challenging choral experience where musical skill, confidence, and artistry develop over time.

Under the direction of a skilled and passionate Musical Director and Accompanist, singers are supported to achieve a high standard of choral performance through regular rehearsal and shared learning.

Our repertoire is intentionally diverse, including well-known works alongside music by Canadian and Indigenous composers, contributing to cultural vibrancy, representation, and storytelling.

PACC is a recognized part of the local artistic and cultural scene. We give back through performances at charity events, fundraisers, festivals, and community celebrations, sharing the gift of voice as an expression of our work together.

Collaboration is central to who we are.

We actively work with and elevate local musicians, strengthening the local music community while enriching our own musical experience and that of our audience.
