$138,000 in banned items seized at Sask. Pen. 

Vigilant staff members at the Saskatchewan Penitentiary found and seized a number of items that are banned in the facility. 

On April 1, staff found packages containing THC concentrate, hashish, tobacco, cell phones and chargers that had an institutional value of $138,550.  

Police are investigating.  

Corrections Canada is reminding people that they use number of tools to stop banned items from entering jails.
