Early morning blaze disrupts business at 2nd Ave. McDonald’s

The morning rush at Saskatchewan’s busiest McDonald’s restaurant was brought to a halt on Saturday following a fire.

Prince Albert firefighters were seen near the back of the restaurant on 2nd Avenue West clearing out the garage, where the business stores its garbage and waste. Meanwhile, police had both entrances to the parking lot blocked off and were seen taking statements from some employees.

SaskPower was also on scene.

It is unknown how long crews will be on scene for and for how long the restaurant will be closed. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
