Vancouver Canucks ink defenceman Victor Mancini to two-year extension
VANCOUVER — The Vancouver Canucks have locked up Victor Mancini, signing the American defenceman to a two-year extension.
The NHL club announced the deal Friday, saying it carries an average-annual value of US$1 million.
Mancini has averaged 13:50 in ice time over 18 games with the Canucks this season, and logged five penalty minutes.
The 23-year-old from Hancock, Mich., has also played 33 games for the Abbotsford Canucks in the American Hockey League this season where he tallied four goals and eight assists.
