Prince Albert drug trafficker receives community based sentence
A Prince Albert drug investigation that netted over 100 grams of cocaine and various items related to trafficking has resulted in a community based sentence.
Brad Mercredi, 33, appeared Friday morning at provincial court and entered guilty pleas to charges related to the possession and trafficking of drugs.
The 21 month conditional sentence order essentially means if he can abide by certain conditions, he can serve his sentence in the community. Those conditions include a curfew, programming for addictions and 150 hours of community service.
