Huber’s overtime goal gives Boston Fleet 4-3 win over Montreal Victoire
LAVAL — Ella Huber scored 1:33 into overtime as the Boston Fleet beat the Montreal Victoire 4-3 in a first-place showdown in Professional Women’s Hockey League action at Place Bell on Sunday afternoon.
With the overtime win, Boston (9-5-2-3) remained in first place three points ahead of Montreal (9-4-1-5). The Fleet completed a comeback after entering the third period down 3-0.
Loren Gabel scored her first goal of the season, while Megan Keller and Susanna Tapani had the others. Keller added two assists while Alina Muller also had two assists. Aerin Frankel made 27 saves.
Abby Roque had a goal and two assists for Montreal. Marie-Philip Poulin scored the opener for the home team but left the game a few minutes later.
