Car lands on snow bank after close call with wildlife

The driver of a car that ended up on a snowbank near Shellbrook reported no injuries.

Shellbrook Fire and Rescue responded this morning just after 7 a.m. to a single vehicle collision west of the community.

One person had been reported walking away from the scene but was found by firefighters.

They had swerved to miss a deer, lost control of the car and ended up on the snowbank next to the highway. One firefighter and unit responded.
