Lloydminster triple-homicide case headed to trial in Battleford
The accused in a Lloydminster triple homicide case has been committed to stand trial following the conclusion of his preliminary hearing.
The preliminary hearing for Nakota Pooyak wrapped up Wednesday, Jan. 28, and a provincial court judge ordered the case to proceed to a pre-trial conference at Court of King’s Bench in Battleford.

Pooyak faces three counts of second-degree murder in connection with the deaths of Brent Peters, Matthew Peters and Brennan Peters.
