29-year-old man charged after string of firearms calls in two-hour span: P.A. Police
Prince Albert Police have arrested and charged a 29-year-old man after officers responded to multiple firearms calls within a two-hour span.
The string of incidents happened late Wednesday night and began at around 9:50 p.m. when police were called to the 1700 block of 16th Avenue West for a vehicle that had been shot at. Upon arrival, police learned that the incident happened on in the 1000 block of 15th Street West, and that both occupants in the vehicle were unharmed.
The suspect fled the scene before officers arrived but was described as wearing all black and carrying a backpack.
Minutes later, police responded to the 1800 block of Central Avenue for a report of a man with a similar description in a verbal altercation with the occupants of an SUV. The man then pointed what appeared to be a firearm at the vehicle before it drove away.
