Brennan Sewap arrested in Prince Albert, alleged driving a stolen vehicle

Dec 24, 2025 | 2:06 PM

A man on the run from Prince Albert RCMP for nearly three weeks for an armed robbery, was captured at a residence in Prince Albert.

Brennan Sewap, 36, appeared Wednesday morning at Prince Albert Provincial Court and was remanded to Dec. 29.

The robbery occurred at Muskoday First Nation.

On Dec. 23, Sewap was observed behind the wheel of a stolen vehicle by RCMP officers, who then called in city police. A traffic stop was not successful.

The Warrant Enforcement Suppression Team found the vehicle at a home in the city and both police services helped secure the area.

A man and two women left the vehicle. The women were arrested but the man ran on foot and was chased and taken into custody.

Inside the vehicle police found a loaded semi-automatic rifle and ammunition, trafficking paraphernalia and three packages of what they believe to be cocaine.

Sewap, who is from Saskatoon, has additionally charged with fleeing from police, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, possession of stolen property over $5,000, multiple gun charges and driving a vehicle while prohibited.

Patricia Morin from Southend, age 35, faces similar charges as does 31-year-old Sarah Linklater of Pelican Narrows.

All three appeared in Prince Albert Provincial Court on Christmas Eve and will remain behind bars until their next hearing on Dec. 29.
