Pop up beauty event makes debut in Prince Albert
Maya Rabbitskin joked when she pitched the event for a low cost event that would bring like minded people together from the beauty industry, they thought it was a scam.
However’s Wednesday’s six hour Glam and Glow event at Plaza 88 was anything but and featured 15 local vendors including activities for families, and some unique shopping ideas. Rabbitskin, who organized the event, is also the owner of Sacred Shears.
“I just like being able to make a difference in somebody’s life. Even if it’s just a quick haircut, that makes a huge difference for somebody,” she said.
Sacred Shears is a new business venture and in addition to working in Prince Albert, team members hold mobile clinics, venturing to various First Nations and also holding lice clinics.
