Boy killed in ATV rollover on Fishing Lake First Nation

A boy under the age of 12 has died after an ATV rollover on Fishing Lake First Nation.

Wadena RCMP were called about the rollover Tuesday at 6 p.m.

The investigation determined that four children were on the ATV when it rolled, and the boy was declared dead in hospital.

His family has been notified.

The driver and other passengers did not report serious injuries to police, and RCMP say that EMS and fire services assisted at the scene.
