Nov 17, 2025 | 1:07 PM

The entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to building small business in the province was recognized in three young recipients.

On Friday, each of them was awarded $5,000 and a complimentary membership to the Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce.

The three recipients are Acacia Carleton, who operates Acacia Blossom Beauty Spa; Yetunde Lawal, Gabby’s Beauty Supplies; and Kirk Pilon, Pilon Homes.

While the Prince Albert and District Chamber of Commerce presented the awards, the 2025 Young Entrepreneur Bursaries were provided through the provincial government’s Ministry of Trade and Export. The MLA for Prince Albert Carlton, Kevin Kasun, represented the government and highlighted the province’s ongoing support for small business and entrepreneurship.
