“Community Champions” is a brand new video series on paNOW.com and will feature local people who make their communities a better place through volunteer work or just random acts of kindness.

Bob Cook, 86, worked all his life as a truck driver, later drove school bus and also refereed for local junior hockey. Even a double knee surgery hasn’t slowed him. Every day he ventures out on his scooter and helps clean up garbage along the Rotary Trail in Prince Albert’s East Flat neighbourhood.

paNOW’s Nigel Maxwell had the opportunity to meet Cook and joined him for one of his excursions.
