Man busted with drugs after falling asleep in vehicle
A 43-year-old man from Prince Albert who was asleep in a car woke up to police and a subsequent arrest early Thursday morning.
A Prince Albert police officer spotted the sleeping man while on patrol in the 1000 block of Branion Dr. just before 2 a.m. When the officer approached the vehicle, they saw what looked like illegal substances inside. Police also determined the man was breaching the conditions of a release order and arrested him without incident.
Police found multiple bags of suspected crack cocaine when they searched the vehicle, as well as a gun.
Tyler Fleury has been charged with possession of a firearm, tampering with a serial number, breach of a release order and possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking.
