Prince Albert RCMP searching for stolen Jeep and suspect from two separate flights from police

The Prince Albert RCMP are asking the public to be on the lookout for a Jeep that was stolen during the night of August 15.

At around 9:40 p.m., police were informed of a vehicle taken at gunpoint. The vehicle in question is a 2021 Jeep Cherokee with the Saskatchewan license plate number 840 MHG.

No other details have been provided.

If you see this vehicle, please call 310-RCMP (7267) or 911 in an emergency to report their location. Police advice the public not to approach the vehicle as there is a firearm involved.

A second flight from police was reported by the RCMP at noon. This one happened east of the Christopher Lake turn off and the Highway 2 junction.

A vehicle, unspecified by police, was found abandoned. Police are looking for a male suspect who appeared to be of First Nations decent, in his early 20s, and wearing black pants and white runners, somewhere east of Christopher Lake.

If you observe a subject matching the description, call RCMP immediately at 310- 7267 (RCMP). Do not approach this subject, just call police or 911.
