Two injured after late night hit and run

The Prince Albert Police Service has confirmed that two people were seriously injured after a hit and run during the evening hours of August 1, and now they’re asking for the public’s assistance to locate the suspect.
A police officer was already on scene at the 1200 block of 2nd Avenue West around 10:13 p.m. when he observed a collision between a vehicle and pedestrians two blocks away at the 1400 block of 2nd Avenue West.
The officer quickly drove to the intersection to assist the pedestrians who had both sustained ‘serious injuries’, while the vehicle fled the scene. EMS and Parkland Ambulance were called to the scene, and both victims were taken to hospital.
The victims were a 34-year-old female and a 56-year-old male, and both remain in Victoria Hospital in serious condition.
